Manors and gardens

Mikkeli has a long military and government history, so there are a lot of manor houses in the region. Some of the manor houses can trace their roots back to the 16th century. Several manor houses nowadays serve tourists, including restaurants serving local food, accommodation, local products and crafts, and various activities. Visitors are warmly welcomed!
