Mikkeli region

Mikkeli Region consists of seven municipalities, which together create one of the biggest second home and leisure regions in Finland. In the North-East, you will find Lake Puula, whose neighbouring Lake Kyyvesi and River Naarajoki area stretches all the way up to Pieksämäki in the North. In the East, the region is known for Lake Saimaa, Finland's largest lake and holiday villa area. The city of Mikkeli and the Mäntyharju, Pertunmaa, Puumala, Kangasniemi, Hirvensalmi and Juva municipalities welcome you!
