Rokansaari - a paradise island
Rokansaari is an island renowned for its fine natural sandy beaches and eskers made by the ice age.
The Rokansaari recreational area is a place of natural beauty by Lake Lietvesi in Puumala. The association that rents tradional cabins owns a 25-ha estate in the area and a building that once served as a lodging house.
There are different kind of tours organized by Lakeland GTE, Nestorinranta, Guide-Tiina, Saimaa Canoeing for example. We really recommend a visit to this rurally beautiful island!
